Church of St. Magdalena - Val di Funes, Italy

 INTRODUCTION:Santa Maddalena is located in the rear part of the valley at 1.339 m e has about 370 inhabitants. Here, at the foot of the Ruefen, also one of the symbols of the valley rises, which is the Santa Maddalena church (1,394 m): according to a legend, this is the place where the miraculous image of Santa Maddalena was washed up by the Fopal river.
